If you’re a chicken enthusiast like myself, then you too will appreciate the importance of a good chicken burger in your life. No longer will you have to search the city for a nice succulent chicken burger to sink your teeth in to, because I have generously complied a list of my top 5 chicken burgers in Sydney.
- Frangos Charcoal Chicken
I’ve been in a committed relationship with Frangos for just over 5 years now, and I couldn’t be happier. Frangos without a doubt makes the best chicken burger I’ve ever tasted. The staff is incredibly friendly, they make a bloody good Portuguese burger, despite the crowds it is the perfect destination for a delicious chicken burger.
2. Chargrill Charlie’s (Chookas)
If you’re lucky enough to live close to Chookas then you’d be well aware of just how good their burgers are. If you ever find yourself near a Chargrill Charlie’s then do yourself a favour and grab a Portuguese chicken burger or a schnitzel burger, I promise you won’t regret it.
3. Chicken & Sons
I’ve only just recently been introduced to Chicken & Sons by my older sister, and I’m very grateful. There’s a huge range of burgers, sides, and chickens but I strongly recommend the Big Bird, or the single bird if you prefer smaller portions. The food is fresh, the staff are friendly, the burgers are amazing, and if you ever find yourself In Chatswood or Surry Hills I suggest you pay them a visit.
4. Salty Rooster
Salty Rooster has the largest range of chicken burgers I’ve ever come across, each capturing the essence of a different culture. From Thai to Italian, Greek to Indian, it is almost impossible to choose which burger you want to try. The Mexican rooster has always been my go-to burger but I will occasionally branch out and grab a Thai rooster, or turkish rooster, all of which I thoroughly recommend.
5. Coco Cubano
Coco Cubano has a huge menu filled with Cuban styled food, but nothing compares to the Chicken Burger. Even though the ingredients on the burger itself are nothing special, it is one of the best chicken burgers I’ve laid my hands on. Plus there’s happy hour Monday-Friday so that’s all the more reason to go check it out.
